The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering (AE) at Georgia Tech and the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India have joined together to offer a summer study-abroad program for second- and third-year AE students. The classes will be taught by Georgia Tech faculty. All Georgia Tech students enrolled in this program will pay the in-state tuition rate, regardless of their actual residency.
- Program Fee: $3500 (includes meals, housing, and insurance)

Dec. 15, 2020: $500 deposit (this will be refunded if the program is canceled for any reason)
March 1, 2021: $1500
April 1, 2021: $1500

More Than an Adventure
This summer study program is perfect for students who want to make up credits after taking time for an internship or co-op. The 10-week summer program allows students to earn 12-14 credits that apply directly to their engineering major. And, when the four-day school week is over, students enrolled in this program can use their three-day weekends to explore India -- a continent of unparalleled beauty and history.
The Indian Institute of Science is located in Bangalore, a city that is sometimes referred to as the “Silicon Valley of India” because it is the nation’s leading information technology exporter. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Indian aircraft and helicopter industry (HAL) are located in Bangalore. Also, it is an aerospace technology hub with home to several overseas research and development centers of US and European aerospace industry leaders including Boeing, Bell, GE, Airbus, etc..
