The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) Georgia Tech student chapter will host a meeting that will feature a virtual talk by Mr. Brian Tucker from Bell Flight titled “Engineering Communication- A Case Study in Clearly Explaining Problems and Solutions to Improve Technical Outcomes.”

Mr. Brian Tucker is currently Senior Management for Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) at Bell. During his 25 years at Bell, he has held positions in Structural Test, Fatigue Analysis, and IVHM. He has multiple publications as well as over 20 US patents. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the SAE HM-1 committee for IVHM and the Vice Chair of the Health Ready Components and Systems (HRCS) consortium. Mr. Tucker has Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Note: Elections for 2022-23 VFS Officers will be held in the general meeting on October 6th. Interested candidates are requested to send an email to Jahnvi Hariani (jhariani3@gatech.edu) with the position they are interested in running for. The available positions are President (one term of experience as a VFS officer preferred), Vice President, Social Media Officer, Membership Chair, Treasurer, and Meeting Manager.
