Join the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering on Monday, April 17, for a Workshop on Thermal Protection System (TPS) for Hypersonics. The event will take place virtually via Zoom from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The workshop will be focused on three topics: Thermal Management Systems, Manufacturing of TMS Structures, and Testing in Harsh Environments. For each of these sessions, various speakers will share their experiences and vision, followed by a panel discussion. The workshop aims to develop a collective vision of critical challenges and innovative technologies, which should be a focus of the research community working in this area to enable the next generation of hypersonic systems.
