former VP of Ball Aerospace and former Associate Administrator for the Space Technology Mission Directorate at NASA headquarters

AIAA will be hosting Mike Gazarik, former VP of engineering at Ball Aerospace, to hear about his career journey. Gazarik has 25+ years of industry experience, working at MIT's Lincoln Laboratory before joining NASA as deputy director for programs at NASA's Langley Research Center. He also served on the NASA Advisory Committee for Technology and Innovation, and on the Department of Defense Study on STEM and the Industrial Base. Gazarik has won numerous awards including a Silver Snoopy award, one of NASA's highest honors. He is currently a Faculty Lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder.
