Congratulations go out to Jesse Kallman, MSAE '10 has been promoted to the position of president of Airbus Aerial & Airbus Defence & Space Intelligence, North America.

The Fort Lauderdale native most recently served as the president of Airbus Aerial, an entrepreneurial effort that focused on delivering actionable data to commercial customers via satellites, drones, high altitude aircraft and other means. In his new role, Kallman will expand the scope of his work to include Airbus's global satellite business, where he will add new software, analytics and drone services to the global portfolio.

"I'm excited to be able to tap into Airbus's unique capabilities," said Kallman, whose graduate studies placed him in the Aerospace Systems Design Lab. "We will be leveraging our with drones like the High Altitude Long Endurance drone to provide a unique set of services to our commercial and government customers."
