Katherine Johnson 1918-2020

For AE School doctoral student Naia Butler-Craig, the passing this week of the renowned mathematician and scientist, Katherine Johnson was very personal. And inspirational.

In this essay published in the Washington Post, Craig shared her thoughts on the impact that this 101-year-old NASA trailblazer had on her life - and the lives of every black girl who looks into the skies and says "maybe someday..."
