Catherine Wright
Catherine Wright is the Founder and CEO of Indigo Strategic Communications. Indigo focuses on helping clients with business transformation initiatives including strategic marketing, change management, business strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to founding Indigo, Wright served as senior director, communications, for corporate headquarters at L3Harris Technologies. In this role, Wright oversaw all enterprise executive and employee communications, campaigns, and the company intranet. She also oversaw the L3Harris Global Innovation Center, which digitally showcases the company’s technology portfolio to a broad range of stakeholders.
Previously, Wright served as the communications project engineer for the June 2019 merger of L3 Technologies and Harris Corporation. In this role, she oversaw the development of all external and internal communications materials for each functional area.
Prior to the merger, Wright held the position of director of marketing at legacy Harris, where she oversaw the relaunch of an integrated website, an integrated brand design and messaging, and harmonization of all enterprise tradeshows.
Wright started her career at Harris as a mechanical engineer, designing deployable reflectors for space. From there, Wright moved into roles of increasing responsibility including project engineer and engineering manager. Wright also expanded her business acumen through her roles as acquisition business analyst, business development manager, and senior marketing manager.
Wright earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business management from the University of Florida. She is also a graduate of the University of Virginia Darden Executive Education program and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Executive Education program.
