Biography

Hunter is a Program Manager at Google leading the fight against spam and abuse in mobile messaging, notably for RCS, which boasts over 1 billion users. Before Google, he spent a decade navigating the startup world, gaining invaluable insights from both triumphs and setbacks.

Hunter earned an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech. At Tech, he excelled not only academically but also athletically, securing over 60 rowing medals. His passion for music led him to perform with the GT Symphony and string quartet. During his MBA, he collaborated with Gulfstream Aerospace on a forward-thinking market analysis capstone project.

Dedicated to giving back, Hunter serves on the advisory board of the Access Institute, championing accessible mental health care. His commitment to service extends to his Peace Corps experience in Guinea, where he taught high school math and physics in underserved communities.

Based in Oakland, CA, Hunter cherishes time with his wife Laila and son Elijah, exploring the outdoors, indulging in music and literature, and rooting for the A's.
