We know that many prospective students cannot visit the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering - especially in the Spring of 2020, with travel and in-person meetings curtailed. That's why we created these videos, introducing you to some of the most compelling reasons to earn your aerospace engineering degree here.

The AE School's undergraduate program is a unique combination of classroom, laboratory, and research experience that gives students knowledge and skills to meet and exceed the demands of today's workplace. The curriculum includes 132 credit-hours, culminating, senior year, with the completion of a capstone research project in one of three application areas: rotorcraft, fixed-wing, and spacecraft.

Admission to the Georgia Tech AE School

Undergraduate admissions are handled through the Georgia Tech Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The School of Aerospace Engineering hosts information sessions & tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9 a.m. Find out more about visiting the Georgia Tech campus.

Transferring to the Georgia Tech AE School

Undergraduates with a strong academic track record and a commitment to research are encouraged to apply to the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering. A complete course transfer evaluation will be done when you have been accepted to Tech. The Institute will determine whether you have completed courses that transfer credit.

The Aerospace Engineering Curriculum

The core undergraduate curriculum is built on fundamental disciplines necessary to understand the design and performance of aerospace vehicles and their integrated subsystems. If you join us, you will also develop crucial professional and engineering skills that you will need when you enter the workforce. Co-ops, internships, international study, and research are just some of the ways you can tailor your undergraduate education at AE.
